The XVI GENERAL CHAPTER
of the Sisters of Our Lady of Apostles
Following our previous reflections, the next two days (8th & 9th July) will be devoted to discussing the theme "Charism and Mission". Given all that we had heard regarding our history and the realities from the Provinces, Districts and Insertions, we reflected on concrete actions to be taken to answer new calls to the broken, the poor and the marginalised.
Three Sisters were invited to give brief presentation on the realities of the apostolate they are engaged in (Women in prostitution, Children in the street and People living with HIV and AIDS).
Based on our reflections, a lot of issues and concerns were raised on the theme. The main focus that emerged for consideration under our apostolic priorities in the coming years includes:
" Women in distress
" Youth and children in difficulty or disturbed
" Inter-religious dialogue
" JPIC with Active Non-violence
We continue our reflection on the theme 'Charism and Mission' in the subsequent day. We need your prayerful support.
